Help Me! Is a short film about a boy who has spent all of his money drinking. He then gets a phone call from his mother who turns out to be very poorly and in hospital. He shuts his friends out of his life as he tries to handle the fact that he cannot afford to visit his sick mother. Definitely worth the watch!

Gamble

The film Gamble has a strong message of the dangers of gambling. The male character manages to gamble away a deposit for a house that he and his friends had found. He loses not only money and self esteem but his friends. This film has one of the most interesting endings.

One Night Stand?

This is the film with the strongest twist of narrative in it in my opinion. A girl wakes up after a drunken night out next to a mystery male. The girl is already in a relationship and we follow her as she struggles to found out who is the stranger in her bed and what happened the night before.

Return of the EX

Our usual genre choice changed direction the week of this film. A couple are watching a film, embracing when they begin to talk about the male character’s deceased ex-girlfriend. That ex-girlfriend turns out to be haunting the couple and she isn’t happy that her boyfriend has moved on…Chilling…
